How do you make a difference when the problem seems huge?

If you’re starting to explore the world of philanthropy, it can help to pinpoint a broad initiative you’re passionate about and zoom in to more focused causes under that umbrella. For example, if you’re interested in helping children but aren’t sure where to go from there, identify categories under that initiative. You can first break it down into international and domestic. Then, do you want to focus on healthcare, education, finances or food security? Zooming in on a large issue helps bound the problem, making it more manageable and less daunting.
