November, 2021 - Meena Flynn, Global Co-Head of Private Wealth Management at Goldman Sachs, spoke at the Financial Times Wealth Management Summit on “The Polarization of the Alternatives Industry: Adapting to Market Conditions and Building Resilience”.
Alternative assets are a broad asset class, reaching across private equity, private credit, real estate, and more. Investors have been increasingly focused on Alternatives as a potential way to generate additional returns for portfolios given the current markets and what we are seeing such as, low interest rates and rising inflation, in addition to capitalizing on pre-IPO value creation.
In this session, Meena talks with Financial Times reporter Katie Martin about the ways we believe the alternatives industry has emerged stronger on the other side of the pandemic, and how these investments can fit into a diversified portfolio.
